Following a grueling race at Fort William two weeks ago, the Downhill World Cup is back with new courses and venues to test the world’s best racers.
Timed training has begun for this week’s race as downhill riders battle complex conditions as the schedule is revised to 2024. After a morning practice, first dry and then wet, Nina Hoffman and Troy Brosnan set the fastest times of the day ahead of even faster qualifying times.
We don’t have to wait long until everyone returns during the qualifying tape and the elites face off for a second time in the semi-finals.
