Flat Iron, the popular steakhouse chain known for its “affordable” steaks, has confirmed the location of its new Manchester store. A new restaurant has been confirmed to open in Deansgate in early summer.
The chain, which has 12 restaurants in London, will take over the premises previously occupied by specialist outdoor clothing brand Blacks. The Grade II listed building was also once home to the Royal London Friendly Society.
The highlight of our menu, which we pride ourselves on as “excellent steaks at affordable prices,” is the Feather Blade Flatiron Steak, which is, as you might imagine, flavorful, tender, and juicy. Sides include beef drippings, potato chips, creamed spinach, truffle mac and cheese, and crunchy bone marrow mash.

Founded by Charlie Carroll in 2012, the restaurant began life as a pop-up above a pub in east London. The chain now spans his 12 locations in London, and will expand to locations in Cambridge and Leeds in 2023.
The interior of the two-storey restaurant was renovated by architect Macaulay Sinclair with the aim of revealing and displaying as much of the original architectural structure as possible, highlighting its heritage and celebrating its architectural features. The existing plasterwork and cornicing was exposed and combined with the original timber flooring, the original glazed brick walls were exposed, the riveted steel columns were exposed and the original parquet flooring was restored. it was done.

Since its founding, the company has been named one of the top 100 companies to work for in the country three years in a row and offers great pay and training opportunities. There is a tendency to focus on just one cut of steak, but with sides starting at £4, he is considered one of the most affordable steaks at just £13.
Other steaks like sirloin and bavette, as well as the flat iron burger, will also be available as specials. The drink list includes a selection of wines, including Flat Iron’s own Malbec, as well as a variety of draft beers and signature cocktails.
As of now, there is no specific opening date set for the Manchester branch, but the Flat Iron team have confirmed it will be in the summer of 2024. Flat Iron will be located at 200-204 Deansgate, Manchester.
