PTC News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his last address to the current Rajya Sabha, was scathing in his criticism of the Congress party, accusing it of being embroiled in a “cancel culture”. He was a direct critic of Rahul Gandhi and suggested that the party was stuck in a cycle of rebooting the same political agenda over and over again.
The Prime Minister highlighted the Congress party’s opposition to several government initiatives including Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat and Vocal for Local. “Congress is stuck in cancel culture. When we say ‘Make in India’, Congress says cancel. When we say ‘Vocal for local’, Congress says cancel. We proposes Vande Bharat and Congress says cancel it again,” PM Modi said in his speech. Further addressing the Congress party, Prime Minister Modi drew parallels with his long tenure in power and spoke of their apparent determination to remain in the opposition for a long time. “I appreciate the determination of the Opposition to remain in the Opposition for a long time. It’s the same. The people will definitely bless you.”

Taking a sharp stand at Rahul Gandhi, who is currently leading the ‘Bharat Pure Land Nyay Yatra’ in Jharkhand, PM Modi said, “Congress stores are on the verge of being locked for trying to relaunch the same products.” ” This comment alludes to the repetitive nature of the National Congress Party’s strategy and its potential implications for their political standing.
