Canada. Today’s selection comes from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, who has recently championed the work of hip-hop artists in the city. Project T-Dot exhibit in the arrival area. The launch event was co-sponsored by Newport Aviation and Ports Toronto.
Project T-Dot is a documentary initiative covering hip-hop culture and community activities in Toronto.

Curated by photographer/director and mental health advocate Ajani Charles, this exhibition features historic photographs celebrating Toronto’s local music scene. Charles began documenting these moments in December 2006, primarily through black and white photography.
The event featured a question and answer session with Charles. will serve as moderator “Logic” by Neil Donaldson. Donaldson is the co-founder of Stolen From Africa, a nonprofit arts organization.

Singer Keyshia Fresh and dance group Ground Illusions also performed on the night, as well as music by defender Lincoln Baio and Kira Kells.
Guests were able to view the exhibits and learn from Ajani himself about the story behind each photo.
The event not only showcased Toronto’s hip subculture and brought a sense of place and authenticity to the airport, but also celebrated local talent with exhibits that celebrated Toronto’s people and art in an authentic way . ✈
