Paul Weiss has poached another partner from Linklaters, which continues to recruit in London.
Dan Schuster Waldan, a corporate partner at Linklaters and the firm’s head of global co-insurance, is leaving for a U.S. rival, people familiar with the matter said.
Mr. Schuster-Wolden spent 24 years at Linklaters. He was promoted to partner in his 2010 year. He has reached out to both companies for comment.
His recent transactions include action on a proposed sale. telegraph paper and audience, He also worked for RBS, AXA and Santander.
Paul Weiss has been on a hiring spree for Citi in recent months, bringing in M&A partner Chris Sullivan and leveraged finance partner Tanner Hassan from Clifford Chance, another Magic Circle firm. It’s being pulled out.
Schuster-Wolden’s move is the latest high-profile addition to Paul Weiss’ growing London office. Paul Weiss London co-heads Neil Sachdev and Roger Johnson have hired a range of partners from their previous firm Kirkland & Ellis, as well as adding high-profile names from some of the City’s biggest names.

Paul Weiss recently hired Linklaters antitrust partner Nicole Kerr, after acquiring M&A partner Will Aitken-Davies from the same firm.
The large US law firm added rising Kirkland debt finance star Stephen Arnold Soulby in September and technology and intellectual property partner John Patten last month.
The firm will move to new offices at 20 Eyre Street, Soho, close to its private equity client base in west London.
