It snowed last week, so we watched a lot of documentaries. CNN ran a series for each decade from his 60s to the 2000s. It saddens me to see how America was once able to trust the news. But even CNN admitted that at some point in the 1980s everything changed.
Today's media is mostly about partisan politics disguised as “news.” Despite the media's all-out efforts to distort, lie, and incriminate Trump, his rise in the polls proves that they no longer matter. There is no trust, and that's to be expected.
Can you imagine how the media would cover this story 24/7 if the Epstein Island attendance list was full of Republicans? As they have been for the past five years, the list of prominent Democrats in Washington It is the only secure secret document in DC. And before you get mad at the justice system for letting this go for too long, note that the Colorado Supreme Court is doing the following: The court just recently voted unanimously to remove Bill Clinton's name from the Epstein Island list.
Not only are the major media channels essentially monopolies, but CNN, CBS, NBC, PBS, and ABC (including AP and UPI) are far-left-leaning organizations. They think they are morally superior and righteous, and that we, the public, are unworthy to know the truth for fear of what they will do with it.
“You have a right to know your opinion. But you don't have a right to know your own facts.” These are the words of Democratic New York Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan. He is one of the last politicians to debate and make deals with the other side. For a while, the media owned both facts and opinions. Maybe that's why they hate Trump so much. He was the first one to have the courage to stand up to them after they tried to “get” him with Russian hoaxes and such.
Those days are over. In this late stage of corruption, the real divide is not what is true and what is not. The real dividing line is between those who are willing to tell the truth and those who are not. Corporate legacy media is still stuck on the side of not telling the truth. Owned by advertisers such as Big Pharma, insurance companies, the “military-industrial complex” and technology oligarchs, they cannot question Mr. Fauci, the war, or the drug companies about vaccines. Moreover, they seek to exterminate anyone who questions their doctrine.
Joe Biden said gas prices were $5 a gallon when he took office, said he had secured the border and had no involvement in his son Hunter's business dealings. All this is reflected by the liars he employs, the chief liar being his spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre. When a reporter from the rare White House press corps rebutted Biden's lies, Jean-Pierre accused the reporter of distorting the facts by quoting them verbatim. You should know.
The media is consistent: If Trump fails, the media will hold him accountable. Conversely, if Biden fails, the media will blame Trump.
It would be nice to go back to when the news was honest and we could agree on the facts so we could have a proper discussion without trying to tear each other down. So, to commemorate the media getting honest, I lit a cigarette in the exam room, complimented the nurse on her appearance, and pretended it was 1975 again.
As a liberal, I confuse the left and sometimes confuse the right. They wonder why I vote Republican when I have opposed every war since Korea. I think the war on drugs and terrorism were disasters, but I'm pro-choice. I don't fit into their left and right boxes. A writer once described me as a schizophrenic with multiple personalities. I retorted, “Well, you can play that game with three of your girlfriends.”
