There are a lot of movies and TV series that really make you believe in the romance between the characters. Some actors give such great performances that you can’t help but wonder if they’re in love. Of course, at least in a sociopathic and delusional way. In a world where all external realities like sexuality, geographic location, and relationship status don’t matter, these actors would make a great couple.
“Normal People” by Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones
The most obvious recent example of this has to be internet favorite 2022 Met Gala In attendance were Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar Jones. “Ordinary person” It includes performances so realistic that you often feel like you’re infiltrating a real relationship and traveling with it. Their friendship in real life is also proof of their chemistry, often raising eyebrows about how platonic it really is. It’s clear that they admire each other and solidifies my opinion that they should go on a date or two, if they haven’t already.
Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott “All of Us Strangers”
Similarly, Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal’s recent film All of Us Strangers This is one of the most beautiful romantic depictions I’ve seen recently. They’re both incredibly talented and make the romance of this story shine even as they tackle difficult themes. The subsequent press tour for this film is one of my favorite tours because it was obvious how much Mescal and Scott enjoyed each other’s company. What I’m most looking forward to right now is watching their interviews together. I want to continue consuming Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott’s content forever.
In a perfect world, all members of the “Normal People” universe and the “Fleabag” universe would all be in a relationship together. The Daisy Edgar-Jones and Phoebe Waller-Bridge project is my current dream collaboration that will finally complete this circle.
Joe Locke and Kit Connor in “The Heartstopper”
Aside from the “disgusting” accusation, which I hate to hear, “Heartstopper” brought Nick and Charlie to life completely for me. Every time I see an interaction between Kit Connor and Joe Locke, I kick my foot against the screen. The way they looked at each other made me completely convinced of their love. And their friendship off-screen is a clear indicator of how good their chemistry is.
Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson in The Hunger Games
One of my favorite on-screen couples wasn’t even written in the original story. Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson couldn’t have made a better choice to create their own love story in the world of The Hunger Games, which branched off from Suzanne Collins’ trilogy. They saw a romance that even the creators of the series couldn’t see.this choice of acting It has become a favorite of many fans of the series.
Jake Johnson and Zooey Deschanel in “New Girl”
We can’t make this list without mentioning Jake Johnson and Zooey Deschanel. There’s nothing quite like the epic love story of “New Girl’s,” and Johnson and Deschanel couldn’t have played it better. Their iconic scenes had me sitting on the edge of my seat rooting for them. Property Brother’s fianceEven in real life, I can’t help but secretly root for Nick and Jess.
Quinta Brunson and Tyler James Williams “Abbott Elementary”
with new season “Abbott Elementary School” I can’t wait to see more of Quinta Brunson and Tyler James Williams. Their slow-paced friendship and relationship over the first two seasons was painful to watch, but also very well acted. Williams conveys his emotions beautifully, and their chemistry is undeniable despite the excruciating patience we, as viewers, have been forced to endure.
Anna Kendrick and Skylar Astin in “Pitch Perfect”
Sometimes we’re wrong about who is the most compatible, like when we found out Skylar Astin was married to “Pitch Perfect.” My co-star wasn’t Anna Kendrick. This was mostly shocking. Because his rendition of “Feels Like the First Time” during the riff-off felt authentic to me. And the final moment of the International Collegiate A Cappella Championship was exactly the kind of ending to the movie that Jesse had hoped for.
At the end of the day, these actors may not be together, but they are in my mind. If you are talented enough to believe in your performance, I would definitely recommend Romance.
