In the run-up to the Dubai Tennis Championships, Ons Jabour opened up about his fitness issues.
The 2024 season got off to a bad start for Jabour.

She then lost in the quarterfinals of the Abu Dhabi Open to Beatrice Haddad Maia, and at the Qatar Open, Jabour lost her first match against Lesia Tsurenko.
Mr Jabour admitted he felt pressured to attend swing events in the Middle East.
Jabour insists that lingering knee problems are the reason for his struggles this season.
The Tunisian revisited the topic in a recent interview, speaking candidly about the challenges of training for and competing in competitions while in pain.
“I think this is the worst decision because my heart wants to play but my body won’t allow it,” she told The National newspaper.
Jabour admitted that she has been preparing hard for next week’s Dubai Tennis Championships, where she is seeded fifth.
After leaving Abu Dhabi, Jabour was questioned about the cause of his tear in the match against Haddad Maia.
“To be honest, I don’t really think about it. I’m an open book, I’m an emotional person. I like to show myself,” Javert told reporters.
“One thing I’ve learned is to embrace my emotions. If you try to hide them, you won’t feel good.”
Commentators Anne Keothabong and Mikey Perera said Jabbar appeared to be suffering from some sort of problem.

“It’s always great to come here,” Jabour said during the draw for the 2024 Dubai Tennis Championships.
“Dubai is my home and I am excited to get the season off to a good start here.
“Of course, staying healthy is the most important thing, so I want to win more games and achieve more results.
“I’ve been very lucky to play in many tournaments here in Dubai and other Arab countries and that really helped me become the player I am today.
“My dream is to see more women in this region play tennis and reach high levels.”
