“Today wasn’t my day. I was trying to fight and get through this match, but when you play against someone who plays as well as Beatrice, it’s hard to compete. I’ll do my best and stay focused. I tried to play my game, but unfortunately I couldn’t do it.
“It’s a bit sad because I was starting to feel my game and starting to feel good, but these injuries don’t help. The priority now is to find a solution to catch up and I hope we can do that. Masu.”

This result was surprising as she had easily defeated Emma Raducanu in their previous match.
However, Jabur continued that her knee has been bothering her for a long time and this setback has hit her hard.
“We set the knee back quite a bit. Some tournaments are good, some tournaments are bad. I’ve been feeling it all week, but today was the worst day. Normally, during practice, I try to do something about it. “I try to do that, but it’s a little difficult during matches,” she added.
Ons Jabour will next be in Doha to compete in the Qatar Open.
She will enter the tournament as the No. 4 seed and will play her first match on Tuesday, February 13th if she qualifies.
Jabul and seventh seed Maria Sakkari will headline the second quarter of the WTA 1000 tournament.
Jabul will face Turkish wildcard Lesia Tsurenko or Zeynep Sonmez in the second round in her first match in Doha.
Former world No. 1 Naomi Osaka will also return to Doha for the first time since 2018, taking on France’s Caroline Garcia in her second match of the season.
