Royton Road Runners’ latest RunTogether program, which first began on April 18, 2023, celebrated its 5K graduation at Oldham Parkrun on Saturday, July 8, 2023.
The next exciting program begins tomorrow (Wednesday) and spans 11 weeks of customized sessions.
At just £22, this comprehensive course is your ticket to achieving your fitness goals, making new friends and enjoying the thrill of group running.
What to expect:
Meeting point: Royton Cricket Club, every Wednesday at 6pm.
interval: 1 hour per session.
Who can participate: Must be 18 years or older and have any level of running experience.
Why join the RunTogether group?
Whether your goal is to get healthy, lose weight, be social, race, or get off the couch, the inclusive group of Road Runners welcomes you. Masu.
They strongly believe that running is fun for everyone and is best enjoyed when shared.
Experienced Group Leaders who are Athletics England qualified and insured will guide you through the 12 week course.
It covers everything from safety tips to advice on clothing, footwear, warming up and stretching.
Whether you’re a beginner or just returning to running after a hiatus, our program is customized for you.
You can walk or jog and gradually increase your pace.
Grand Finale:
The culmination of each program is a 5K timed run at Oldham Parkrun to mark your achievement.
Following this, you will have the option to continue your running journey as a proud member of Royton Road Runners.
