This provides better operating conditions for broadcasting and supports wider conventional use of the space.
Emirates Arena has a reputation as a world-class athletics venue and has hosted numerous national and international events, including the 2019 European Athletics Indoor Championships and most recently the 2020 Müller Indoor Grand Prix.
This renovation not only ensures the arena is ready to host the world’s best competition, but also firmly demonstrates the City’s commitment to thriving community sports programs.
This track and field facility is well-used by many of the city’s next generation of elite athletes in a variety of sports, and hosts national, club and school competitions throughout the year.
