Baloch Culture Day was celebrated at Nimroz with an exhibition of Baloch handicrafts and food.
Baloch elders who participated in the exhibition urged the government to teach Baloch language in areas where Baloch people live and pay attention to their culture.

Abdul Ahad Khatibi, chairman of Afghanistan’s Baloch General Council, said, “There are Baloch in different provinces and they can also hold these kinds of exhibitions and express these issues.”

Baloch youth and intellectuals also sought the caretaker government’s support to preserve their handicraft practices and strengthen their culture.
“We want to introduce our culture to the world through media and exhibitions,” said cultural activist Hamidullah Baloch.
Cultural activist Khalil Baloch said, “In our country, there are many elite young people, both girls and boys, with extremely high abilities and skills.”
Local officials in Nimroz said all tribal cultures in the country that are not contrary to Islamic law should be supported.
“Culture within the framework of Islam and our Afghan culture, we strive and work to strengthen and enrich it,” said Habibullah Elham, Head of Information and Culture at Nimroz. he said.
According to official information, most Baloch people live in Nimroz, Farah, Kandahar, Salepol, and Herat provinces.
