She started working for the Associated Press in West Africa, then in Brussels and then as an editor at the Wall Street Journal in London. There she led the daytime digital news desk and covered several coups in her spare time before returning to The Associated Press, where she specialized in defense, foreign affairs and politics.
Before joining the Times, he worked at CBS’s “60 Minutes.” He worked for three years as a freelancer for print and television news organizations, focusing on conflict and human rights. He served as deputy London editorial director and senior writer at NBC News Digital, with a particular focus on terrorism and foreign policy.
