The Michelin Guide has announced its new stars for 2024. Michelin stars are highly regarded by chefs and remain a major restaurant award recognized worldwide. Introducing the London restaurants that received new stars in 2024.
New 3 star restaurant
notting hill – 127 Ledbury Road, London W11 2AQ
One of London’s great restaurants, it’s often lauded by foodies as one of the city’s best. The Brett Graham-led brand has been completely revamped post-COVID-19 and is back with a stunning redesign and a far more exclusive feel than before. After reopening last year, it received two Michelin stars in a row, and this year it finally received three stars.

belgravia – The Peninsula, 1 Grosvenor Pl, London SW1X 7HJ
Brooklands is The Peninsula London’s rooftop restaurant, run by multi-Michelin-starred chef Claude Bossi. The restaurant boasts a great room with a replica of the Concorde on the ceiling, and the food is inspired by sustainable ingredients and journeys across the British Isles. There is also a large terrace and an equally impressive cocktail bar with views over London.

The Sethi family’s concept, with a colonial-era gymkhana club theme and a tandoori oven and Sigri charcoal grill as its focal point, serves modern Indian cuisine with a combination of British ingredients, and was an instant hit. It’s always crowded with top-notch people and gourmets. It is also London’s first two-Michelin-starred Indian restaurant.

Bermondsey – 36 Snowfield, Bermondsey, London SE1 3SU
Trivet is a joint collaboration between Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck alumnus Chef Johnny Lake and Master Sommelier Isa Bal. Here you can enjoy fine cuisine in a casual setting, with a truly epic wine list that spans the globe. The attached wine bar has a simple menu and is well worth a try.

New one star restaurant
soho – 16-18 Beak St, London W1F 9RD
Tomos Parry is the man behind the hugely successful Brat, his equally successful Soho restaurant. Here Parry draws influence from both Spain and Wales, with a big focus on both local produce and home-made cheeses and breads. He can also look forward to popular dishes like lobster caldereta, grilled meats, and great small plates.

This is Gordon’s third restaurant at The Savoy. He already runs The Savoy Grill and The River Room. This is a gorgeous little restaurant (for just his 26 guests) that pays homage to, you guessed it, the iconic chef Georges Auguste Escoffier, who started working at The Savoy in 1890.

This means top French chef Yannick Alléno, who has multiple Michelin stars, will be in charge of The Four Seasons on Park Lane’s main restaurant and bar. The restaurant features a huge counter-heavy dining space where you can watch up close as the chef puts the finishing touches on Alleno’s fine cuisine. There is also a separate sushi menu in the bar space, which is worth checking out.

Notting Hill durian is the brainchild of Chris D’Silva, the man behind Notting Hill Fish and Meat Shop, which has been a big hit since it opened. Billed as a British bistro and wine shop, it employs a top-class team, including chef Max Cohen, who previously worked at Kitchen Table, Ikoy and Franzen.

Coming from the same group that opened Sumi and Endo in the Rotunda, this is a wood-fired concept located in Mayfair. Colombian-born Miller Prada heads up the kitchen with a huge wooden grill in the center of the open kitchen, and the counter is the perfect place to sit in front of the most intricate grill. Expect more fireworks with a very impressive cocktail.

Aji Akokomi’s Akoko focuses on West African cuisine and aims to “innovate the country’s cuisine by using recipes passed down through generations and traditional cooking techniques such as smoking, curing, and fermenting. “to pay homage to the traditions of the world.” There’s a mix of British ingredients and African spices throughout the menu.

This is top chef Angelo Sato’s personal SoHo restaurant, which started out as a chicken-focused restaurant but has now transformed into a broader omakase restaurant offering a “Japanese-inspired eight-course tasting menu.” . with a European accent. ” However, yakitori may also be featured in the tasting experience.

Hidden in Soho, Simon Logan’s only London restaurant offers a Chef’s Table experience with just 12 people per seat. Everything is in the center of the kitchen, so it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Here you can expect an ever-changing ‘farm-to-fork’ tasting menu, with lots of produce sourced from Logan’s own Lake District farm.

Chef Shinji Kanesaka, who already has two Michelin stars for his restaurants in Tokyo, has opened this incredibly luxurious omakase restaurant at 45 Park Lane, especially with the set menu priced at an astonishing £420. That’s why it became a hot topic. The prices are probably not surprising considering he is one of the best traditional Edomae sushi chefs in Japan. It only seats 13, making dinner an incredibly intimate experience.
