World-renowned hairdresser Philip Kingsley coined the term “Bad Hair Day” and dedicated his life to conquering frizz with luxurious products.
But what if we told you that you can buy his namesake brand of shampoo and conditioner at The Range for just £5?
Surprisingly, Philip Kingsley's No Cent No Color shampoo and conditioner is still £24 on the John Lewis website.
Shopper Chloe Etherington spotted it at her local The Range store for just £5.20 a bottle.
She told others on Facebook: “Don't walk, run to The Range!”
The fragrance-free and dye-free range is designed for 'sensitive scalps' and is perfect for those who suffer from psoriasis and eczema.
It's been rave in reviews, with one shopper saying she's gotten “everyone's compliments” on the shine of her hair since purchasing it.
The product's blurb says, “Fragrance-free, hypoallergenic formula removes dirt and impurities, leaving hair shiny and smooth.”
“A generous blend of glycerides delivers moisture to the source while improving manageability.
“Originally inspired by Philip’s wife’s battle with breast cancer, No Cent No Color was designed to be gentle enough for his wife to undergo chemotherapy.”
According to Philip Kingsley's boss, the conditioner is “filled with amazing ingredients that are soft and gentle on your hair.”
“Hydrolyzed elastin increases strength, body, and elasticity, improves hair's tensile strength and moisture retention, and reduces hair breakage,” they added.
“Aminosilicone detangles and reduces frizz and flyaways, leaving your hair smooth, shiny, and frizz-free without weight or irritation.
“Perfect for those with sensitive, delicate, or irritated skin or scalp. Also suitable for Brazilian keratin-treated hair.”
Khloe picked up two bottles each on her latest shopping spree and also shared a photo of the receipt to prove her beauty steal.
Haircare mogul Philippe started working as a beauty assistant at her uncle's salon at the age of 16.
He quickly qualified as a trichologist and launched his first retail product in 1982.
Philip passed away in 2016 after a 65-year career, but his products can still be found on the shelves of LookFantastic, Cult Beauty, and Sephora.
