New TV/Film Copyright Center in Bologna
a The new copyright trading center will include the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, which will be held from April 8th to 11th, the associated generalist publishing arm Bologna Book Plus, and Bologna License Fair/Kids.

Traders attending the world’s largest international trade fair for book publishing professionals will be pleased to know that a trading center dedicated to both content aimed at young readers and more general content will be part of the fair’s 2023 hub. We know, but this year we’re adding a new TV and Movie Copyright Center.
The fair’s new division, called the Television/Film Copyright Center, is grouped as a venue for “commissioning for audiovisual producers and editors.” [can] Find your next book-based intellectual property and develop it into a television series or film for children, youth, and families. ”

According to organizers, registered producers will be able to:

- Access the trade show’s online “Global Rights Exchange” service

For this first edition, it is anticipated that the Film and Television Rights Center’s time will be limited. This means that registered producers will be the ones with the best chance of contacting the necessary publishing contacts. A long-standing staple of the run-up to the London Book Fair (March 12-14), Overview of rights The program will be implemented again this year on March 11 by Publishers’ Licensing Services, a not-for-profit organization that oversees bulk licensing of copies of books, journals, periodicals and websites in the UK.
This organization is owned and managed by the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers. Independent Publishers Guild. Publishers Association. and the Professional Publishers Association.

This year, the program will be set in the 350-year-old Stationers’ Hall on Ave Maria Lane, from 1pm to 6am (including the all-important drinks reception), and will include familiar speakers. The foursome is back!
