The reigning Miss Scotland from Inverness, who competed against more than 100 women from around the world, said the Miss World competition in India had “taught her so many life lessons”. .
Chelsea Allison, 26, won the title of Miss Scotland in October.
The Tesco Mobile retail manager is currently spending five weeks in India as part of the Miss World pageant.

She said: “It’s been an amazing journey.
“I have met so many great friends throughout my life and learned so many lessons along the way.
“It’s truly an unforgettable experience.
Chelsea is currently training non-stop for the final Miss World show, scheduled to be live-streamed on YouTube and the Miss World website on Saturday, March 9th at 2pm.
Speaking about rehearsals, she said: “We have been rehearsing for the main show for about a week now, but there are a lot of different parts to the show.
“To make the final show a surprise, we are prohibited from using mobile phones or posting on social media, so we cannot say exactly what we are rehearsing, but the show There’s a lot of great acting throughout.
“From what I’ve seen in rehearsals, the show has been incredible and I can’t wait to start rehearsing at the venue so I can see the stage.”
“Everything that has happened and is happening now still feels unreal to me!
“I don’t think it will happen until I’m on stage; I think people will look back on it in great shock.”
Chelsea has also chosen Highland Hospice as her charity of choice to support the competition, after two of her sadly deceased relatives were admitted to the hospice, where they received an exceptional standard of care. We are supporting.
She now plans to continue her work alongside the hospice and aims to raise as much money as possible for the cause.
