Top fitness expert Tara Grimes says the dreaded menopause isn’t so scary if you don’t accept the myths that have been exaggerated over time.
The Tyrone native joins HerMoney on this week’s INSPIRE podcast and explains that while her tough-talking style and no-nonsense approach may not be for everyone, she also shares how it helps her clients and business. Discuss what kind of results are being achieved.
Tara runs several successful online businesses specializing in fat loss and health for women over 40, along with a team of talented and passionate coaches who work with clients all over the world. She said that while her social media is great, it also has a huge negative impact on women’s self-confidence.

Speaking to host Sarah Jayne Tobin on INSPIRE, she said: “Being presented with unrealistic images of perfect women with perfect careers and influencers who look like they can fight it… “There’s so much pressure on women, and as you know, there still is.” That’s amazing. And that’s so disrespectful.
“I keep stressing to my clients to live their lives off social media and enjoy every moment. Stop watching this. This is not real.”

Tara said intention and inspiration are only part of the battle for success in life and business. Without continuous effort, you will never achieve your goals. She wants women to understand that treating women harshly is 110% for their own benefit.
“I don’t apply discipline to things I don’t really want. If someone told me they wanted to lose two stone, the first thing I’d ask is why? And if their motivation is, ‘Oh. If it’s watery and external, like, “I’m turning 50 in six months and I have a party and I want to wear a size 12 dress,” that’s not good enough for her. myself. ‘
Tara also applies this mindset to her business plan, which she first created as a passion project several years ago. That success is based entirely on the success of our clients, which is exactly why Tara pulls no punches.
Since creating her first online community, Tara has had to hire top coaches to keep up with demand. Her husband now also works at the company.

Tara isn’t necessarily defined by her business, but it’s a part of who she is. She tells INSPIRE how important it is to have the right people working with her who support her values and protect her brand.
