A new ‘Hobby House’ has opened in Manchester city center, giving people a place to explore their passions completely free of charge.
As the name suggests, All Together Other will be located in a disused printing shop on Hanover Street in the NOMA area of town. This 6,500 square foot space is open to the public daily and includes a shop, workshop area, and a large “village hall” style space where free-to-attend events are held.
Bosses at NOMA, a 20-acre precinct around Victoria Station, say it is a place to “explore creativity and explore new activities” with like-minded people. The event calendar is already in place, with weekly sessions starting in February.

Although the calendar is already scheduled for seven days a week, Altogether Other plans to consider suggestions for new activities.
