In Bustle's Beauty Detail, we dig into the beauty bags of your favorite celebrities to give you the scoop on their rituals to stay glowing. Here, Madeline Urgy talks to Bustle about her collaboration with Cosus, the fragrances she likes to protect, and the products she swears by to combat redness.
Madeline Urgy likes to keep it real. Whether she's watching her girlfriend's TikTok or listening to her podcast, quite lonely, or her Instagram feed, the 23-year-old never glosses over herself. And it's this unfiltered honesty that resonates with her 269 million followers on social media.
So it's no surprise that Argy approaches her beauty routine in the same way. For example, take a look at her TikToks where she doesn't wear makeup. There, she gushes about her breakouts and talks about the laser treatment she's trying for her acne scars.
“My beauty routine is pretty basic,” she tells Bustle. “I've tried elaborate skincare regimens, but they just don't suit my skin, so now I only use face wash and moisturizer, and then apply make-up to take care of my skin and moisturize it.'' I love you” day. “
That's what makes our new partnership with Kosus, one of the OGs in the field of makeup-as-skincare, so serendipitous. “I've been using their products for years. It ticks all my boxes,” says Argy, who is partnering with the beauty brand ahead of a very exciting launch. It's BB Burst, a moisturizing gel-cream formula skin tint that will be officially released on February 2nd.
“I like to keep a very natural look,” she says. “So I like to apply a skin tint and sometimes a little concealer if needed.”

In fact, Argy is all about the shine of the glossy donut. That's why her makeup essentials are minimal. “I don't like hiding my natural tone,” she says. “I also love freckles, so I try to get rid of any redness, but I also make sure that my skin looks healthy and glowing no matter what I wear.”
Here, Argy talks to Bustle about her must-have beauty products, including exfoliants that she swears will shrink your pores.
skin tone
“I use BB Burst almost every day. It's luminous, lightweight, hydrating, and has enough coverage to get rid of redness without masking any areas of my skin that I like. It makes you glow, but… It’s not a cake.”
exfoliant
“I like to use this exfoliant with BHA to reduce redness and reduce the appearance of pores.” [beta hydroxy-acid] Initialization. I put it in my Christmas calendar. ”
hair essentials
“I use Kevin Murphy shampoo and conditioner. It belonged to my mom and I used to steal it and she didn't know. So I hope she doesn't see this. It's great and doesn't make my hair greasy right away. Anything that does that is appreciated.”
fragrance
“My go-to perfume is Baccarat Rouge 540. It's so frustrating. I feel like it used to be a secret, but now it's just the most basic perfume. But it smells so good. .”
A reliable cleanser
“I just use CeraVe Facial Wash. I've been using it for years and have never had a problem with it, so I never mess with it.”
essential concealer
“I use a little Revealer Concealer around my nose, where I always get red. If I look tired, I also apply a little under my eyes. I like it because it doesn't give too much coverage and doesn't take away from your shine.”
SPF spiked moisturizer
“I use Elemis moisturizer after washing my face. I don't have sensitive skin, but I've noticed that my skin feels better when I'm doing the bare minimum to just hydrate my skin. It is enough to replenish it.”
