A former agricultural building used to store grain has been transformed into a gym and fitness haven on the grounds of a luxury Cotswold hotel. Calcot & Spa has opened a new development aptly called The Grain Store.
We have a state-of-the-art gym, fitness classes in our spin hut, and an exercise studio for classes. Set within 220 acres of wild countryside, there is also a cafe called The Huddle for members and hotel guests.
The gym has beautiful countryside views and is equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment. The Grain Store is constructed from upcycled, sustainable materials and uses natural, non-toxic and eco-paints whenever possible.
Richard Ball, CEO of Calcot Collection, said: “This is a £5m investment and has been planned for several years. The Spa at Calcot has had a waiting list for memberships and has been a major health and fitness center ever since it first opened around 20 years ago. The Grain Store has allowed us to expand this membership group during this time of heightened importance in our daily lives. We are so excited to open!”
The Grain Store has been designed by experts in the field, Sparcstudio, in collaboration with The Calcott Collection CEO Richard Ball and Spa Director Francesca Rolando.
