Darts prodigy Luke Littler hit a nine-darter finish in his match against Michele Turretta at The Players Championship in Wigan. The 17-year-old’s incredible form continued.
‘The Nuke’, widely known for surprising him by reaching the finals of the World Championships earlier this year, continues to be in good form. In January, he won the Bahrain Masters by defeating Michael van Gerwen, becoming the youngest player to hit a televised nine-darter against Nathan Aspinall.
Despite losing to Van Gerwen in the Dutch Masters final shortly after, Littler remains in great form. He advanced to his fourth round of the First Players Championship event thanks to his solid 6-1 win over Touretta.

But it wasn’t such good news for world champion Luke Humphries, who defeated Littler in the world final last month. Humphries suffered a surprising defeat on the first day of the tournament, losing 6-0 to Ian White.
Humphries averaged just over 81 as he was whitewashed in the second round by a dimwitted white man.
Meanwhile, Littler advanced to the fourth round of the first Players Championship event of the year.
