Transport for London (TfL) is offering a helping hand to disrupted travellers, after maintenance work could mean that trains to and from London Bridge will be unable to run on the Sydenham Corridor on Easter Sunday.

London Bridge could become a London Overground station
This is one of the solutions previously considered by TfL to reduce congestion along the Sydenham Corridor in the long term.
Rory O’Neill, TfL’s general manager for London Overground, said:
“As no other operator is scheduled to enter the station via the Sydenham Corridor on Easter Sunday, the decision has been taken to temporarily run a service to London Bridge. It was essential to ensure residents continued to have easy access to central London.”
“While there are currently no plans to launch a permanent service at London Bridge station, we will continue to review our services to ensure we continue to meet the needs of our customers.”
