King Charles was seen returning to London with the Queen on Tuesday as he prepares to undergo further treatment following his cancer diagnosis.
Prince Charles and Queen Camilla’s helicopter arrival at Buckingham Palace came after the monarch made his first public appearance at Sandringham and thanked the public for their messages of support.
The 75-year-old monarch arrived as heavy rain lashed across London and was photographed waving to well-wishers as he and his wife Camilla drove to their Clarence House residence.
It comes as it was revealed that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have relaunched their website using their regal titles after returning to the capital after their first treatment last week.
The couple’s website, Sussex.com, will provide updates on the Duke and Duchess’ activities.
It was revealed a week ago that Charles had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer after undergoing treatment for an enlarged prostate at the London Clinic, a private hospital in London.
Following his shocking diagnosis, Prince Harry flew from his home in Los Angeles last Tuesday and the family appeared to be united, but the visit lasted just over a day and the Duke of Sussex returned home on Wednesday.
Last Wednesday, at a charity gala for the London Air Ambulance Charity, Prince William thanked the public for their support for his father and the Princess of Wales, who is recovering from abdominal surgery.
The same day, the King returned to Sandringham on Saturday night and issued a statement praising organizations supporting cancer patients and saying he was “deeply grateful” for the support he had received.
On Sunday, he made his first public appearance at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, where around 100 people gathered to watch the monarch enter the church alongside the priest, Dr Williams.
Duchess Camilla said last week that the king was “doing very well under the circumstances”.

Last week, the Prime Minister issued a statement celebrating Grenada’s 50th anniversary of independence. He apologized for not being able to visit the Caribbean island, adding that he missed the chance to enjoy the Caribbean island’s national dish, a stew known as “oil down.”
