Real Madrid have transformed the Santiago Bernabéu into more than just a stadium, but a masterpiece of architectural design.
Long gone are the days when you could walk into a soccer stadium and expect to be seated in an uncomfortable plastic upright chair in a cramped seating area and the only food on offer would be lukewarm burgers and hot dogs.
Football has entered a new era, where hosting matches is no longer just about satisfying the passion of fans, but is now seen as a business opportunity. Club owners no longer see their stadiums simply as a place to watch their beloved teams play, but also as a valuable revenue opportunity that can come from owning a state-of-the-art football venue.
Real Madrid were one of the first clubs to recognise this, completing a reported £1.5bn renovation to further upgrade their already iconic stadium.
As well as adding extra seating, a retractable roof and a VIP nightclub, the stadium plans to build 300 “super VIP” seats worth a staggering 250,000 euros each – making them some of the most expensive seats in football, if not more.
Next year, Real Madrid will offer 300 “Super VIP” seats, priced at a staggering $250,000 a seat.
The purpose of this box is to create the ultimate hotspot for billionaires to network.
According to Relevo, Real Madrid has set aside 300 “Super VIP” seats, designed solely with luxury and exclusivity in mind, set apart from the stands and offering the best views of the pitch in the stadium.
Located in the original amphitheater, those with the funds to purchase a seat will also be able to enjoy special food, drink and other merchandise, as well as unique experiences such as live shows.
But most importantly, it’s a place where you can interact with and become friends with some of the most influential people in the world.
When he came up with the idea for the VIP areas, Lelebo revealed that Real Madrid’s real objective in creating these seats was to create an unprecedented platform for billionaires to network.
The club said the seats are “better than the players’ seats” and hoped they would attract the world’s wealthy.
And they’ll have to, because the price you pay to get one of these seats isn’t cheap.
The 300 seats will be installed in the First Amphitheatre at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The club revealed that the seats “will be better than those occupied by the players”.
To join this exclusive club for the next 30 years, members will have to pay an entrance fee of around 250,000 euros (£210,000) plus annual dues.
Purchasing these premium seats will not only give you the best perspective on Real Madrid’s home games, but also grant you access to various events held at the Santiago Bernabeu, including concerts and NFL matches.
If that wasn’t enough appealing, members of this exclusive club also receive dedicated parking.
The new VIP area is due to open next year and will be the latest in a long list of impressive facilities Madrid have added since the groundbreaking renovation of the Santiago Bernabeu.
These premium seats also grant you access to various events held at the Santiago Bernabéu, such as concerts and NFL games.

Real’s VIP box transforms into a nightclub in the evening with DJ sets
Real Madrid’s renovation and modernisation of the Santiago Bernabeu has already seen the addition of more seating, taking the stadium’s capacity to 85,000, as well as a retractable roof and pitch, a 360-degree screen and even a private nightclub.
Yes, Real Madrid has a nightclub inside their football ground, which was built as an amenity for the ground’s Sky Bar VIP suite.
It can accommodate up to 200 people and features a private DJ and dance floor.
