Ireland have released an update on their squad following their opening Six Nations win over France at the weekend.
Garry Ringrose, who missed selection for that match with a shoulder injury, did not train with the team in Dublin today but is said to be “progressing well”.
There were some bruises and bruises after this win, but the entire team, including Ringrose, will be in full training tomorrow.
“I’m confident that everyone will be well-equipped to train tomorrow.” Mike Catt told reporters this afternoon.
“Calvin [Nash]Hugo [Keenan]Ringer is arriving smoothly.
“[Garry Ringrose] Obviously I didn’t train today, but I’m making good progress. Let’s see how they recover in the next few days.
“We obviously have some players who have some bruises and bruises from Friday night. There is a couple who are still hanging out.
“We make a decision [later]But we’re pretty confident that we’ll all be fit for full training tomorrow and obviously available for selection on Friday. I have some bruises, but I’m fine. ”
Farrell was also added to the squad for the match against Italy.
Munster prop Oli Jaeger, who was included as a “training panellist” in the pre-competition camp in Portugal, has been added to the full squad for Sunday’s match.
