Police have launched an investigation after two young boys were attacked with a “corrosive substance” at a London Underground station in the latest incident to shock the capital.
British Transport Police (BTP) has released CCTV images of three people it wants to interview after the chemical attack at Elm Park Tube station on Saturday evening.
The victims were attacked around 8 p.m. and were subsequently taken to hospital with non-life-threatening or life-altering injuries.
The incident comes just weeks after a mother and her two children were attacked with an alkaline substance in Clapham.
BTP wants to talk to the people in the images.

Images published by BTP show two men at a subway station, one wearing a black down jacket, face covered and a black baseball cap. The other person is seen wearing a black coat.
On either side of them are women wearing black and white tops with cream-colored jackets over them. She also wears blue jeans and Converse shoes and has a green coat.

There have been a series of corrosive attacks in recent weeks, the most high-profile one being carried out by Afghan asylum seeker Abdul Ezzedi.
Police searched for several weeks before determining that Ezzedi had fallen into the Thames and drowned.
An investigation is underway.

The mother, who was injured in the attack, had part of her face covered in the substance and is believed to have suffered life-changing injuries. The injuries to her two young children were not as serious as originally thought.
Meanwhile, on February 10, a woman was injured with a corrosive substance in a Basingstoke pub, and on February 11, a man detained a passenger on a bus in south London with a bottle of acid.
Abdul Ezedi, from the Newcastle area, has been named by police as a suspect in the attack with a caustic alkaline substance.

Detective Inspector Marvin Bruno, investigating officer, said: “I would like to reassure the traveling public that violence in any form will not be tolerated on our rail network and that our officers are working tirelessly to identify and arrest those responsible.” said.
“We would like to speak to the people in the images and anyone who witnessed the incident as we believe they may have information that could help our investigation. If you are, or have any information that may be helpful, please contact us.” ”
