A woman’s training video sparked a huge debate online after a man refused to step out of her shot. A woman was filming a video documenting CLP’s fitness journey when a man appeared in her camera frame and a small argument ensued.
The unidentified fitness enthusiast told her followers that she had just finished a 5km run. As she began to explain the details of the program, the man wandered into view and sat on a bench in the background, Wales Online reported.
The woman stopped and told viewers she wanted to talk to him. She approached the man and said, “Excuse me, I’m just filming, but is it okay if I go to another park bench?” His answer was simple: “So?”
The woman tried to explain, “You’re just in the picture, that’s all,” but the man retorted, “So?” Despite her polite request to move to another bench, he stood his ground and insisted that was his daily bench.
He suggested that she should move the camera, but she explained that she couldn’t do that because it was a live stream. Disagreement over who should move continued for another two minutes.
Both sides insisted they were handling the situation amicably. The woman yelled, “You’re kinda ruining it,” to which he shot back, “You mean my face is ruining the shot?”
She gently told him that viewers wouldn’t appreciate an old man ruining their opinion, to which he replied,
At one point during the discussion, the man waved at the camera and cheerfully greeted viewers with a “hello.” But he kept holding her gun and remained seated on her bench, taunting her with, “Are you from that Snowflake Brigade?”
The video ended with the woman apologizing to her online fans. And while the fitness enthusiast eventually backed out, viewers were divided on who was at fault.
It’s not clear when this video was first taken, but it has resurfaced several times on social media in recent years. Each time, a debate arises about the actions of both parties involved.
One viewer called the man’s behavior “very rude, very misogynistic and very predatory.” Bryce Goodall openly expressed his views, saying, “Even before he sat down on the bench, the man could clearly see the tripod and the girl in fitness clothes filming.”
“If he knew, as I do, that filming was taking place and was respectful and polite, I’d either just walk around the camera and go about my day, or sit on another bench. It would have been.
“He knew his actions were provocative and downright creepy. He doubled down on his position even though he knew he was live streaming. He knew his actions were appropriate. That’s what we think, but it’s actually not true!”
“She’s upset because she’s not ‘asking’, she’s ‘expecting’. Asking may result in a yes or no result,” Douglas Carr said. He politely said no, but she wouldn’t accept it. Cheers to the man who taught her.” lesson. “
But others didn’t see it the same way. One person said: “I totally disagree. This is a public place and there are benches available to all members of the public. The person who made the video is not sitting on the bench. There is a fine per 100 people sitting on the bench. If they don’t want to, they don’t have to move. ”

Jay Carter said: “Both are wrong. Men harass for no reason. Women forget they’re filming themselves in public. Both should be kinder and more compromising. “It could happen. It’s a bad atmosphere for everyone involved.”
Some viewers questioned the authenticity of the incident. One curious audience member said: “This video feels staged. After all, if that’s true, why did she hide her face when she’s an influencer?” I wondered.
