This new musical is Kate PankhurstTell the story of Jade On a school trip to the museum, she gets lost and ends up in the “Gallery of Greatness,” where she meets some incredible women, including Rosa Parks, Mary Anning, Jane Austen, Mary Seacole!
“This story is so important because it reminds everyone in the audience, especially young girls and women, that they can be amazing at any age, and that they can change the world for the better by being extraordinary and following their own dreams and their own path. It was especially lovely to see young women of color in the audience identifying with the lead character.” Jadeand this amazing cast and band is made up of female and non-binary performers, telling the stories of these incredible women of all different ethnicities, body types, and backgrounds — some that audiences will know, some that they won’t. This is truly an ensemble show, with each performer sharing the spotlight while supporting each other, showcasing their incredible multi-rolling and use of accents, and interacting wonderfully with one another.
The story is wonderful Georgia Grant Anderson play JadeShe perfectly embodies the excitement, determination, confusion and emotions of a young girl finding her way, and with her incredible singing voice and truly captivating and exciting stage presence, she takes us on a journey through the “Gallery of Greatness.”

The costumes used are colorful and bright, which, combined with the clever use of props and staging, illuminate the stage and keep the audience engaged until the very end.
The set is well designed and looks great at The Other Palace, but this show would be amazing on a slightly larger stage! The use of neon lights and signs to create a “Gallery of Greatness” is exciting and looks amazing!
This production is packed with great, upbeat ensemble numbers and bright, sharp, energetic choreography!’Where do you want to go?’,’Actions, not wordsand ‘A World of Color It’s particularly engaging and fills the stage with story. “Rosa’s Lullaby”,sing Anelisa Lamolais also a particularly great ballad!
Incredible women who changed the world It’s a moving and uplifting show that uses great vocals, exciting songs and great choreography to tell the stories of a variety of incredible women. It’s a fantastic show performed by an incredibly talented cast.
