Grab your heels and get ready to embrace your inner Brittany S. Pierce. Heather Morris, a famous actress, dancer, and producer from Glee Club, will lead you through a full-body dance workout that incorporates the following moves: britney spearsBeyoncĂ©, and rihanna. In just 30 minutes, she’ll teach you how to dance in her high heels, with sequences designed to get her heart rate up, activate her glutes, and tone her core. By the time you finish her class, you’ll feel like a complete pro thanks to her powerful choreography that makes you feel real.
Start the class with your heels off and press your feet to warm up. From here, use a chair for part of the choreography and add heels. In the first few sections, you’ll rotate, squat, and shimmy your body, building confidence as you level up. “If someone was in your house right now, they might be wondering what we’re doing,” Morris says, straddling her. “Just say, ‘I’m training and I look good!'”
This is a dance that anyone can easily enjoy, even if you don’t have heels. But for those who want to try her hand at footwear, Morris recommends starting with low heels. “You don’t have to be on stilts for your first heel class,” she told POPSUGAR. For those who have never danced in heels before, she gently reminds us that good things take time.
“Be patient with yourself!” Morris says. “New exercises rarely come naturally. But if you keep practicing, you’ll start to feel stronger and sexier.” It also means you shouldn’t be afraid to use chair support to enhance sex. When Morris embraces her own version of Brittany S. Pierce, all she has to say is: “Be the magical unicorn you know you are!”
