Logitech has some great new keyboards that would make great Father’s Day gifts.
These include the new Ergo Series Wave Keys for Mac, Logitech’s first ergonomic keyboard designed for Mac users.
The wireless ergonomic keyboard is familiar, attractive, easy to use, and built to be comfortable all day, even when you’re sitting at a desk for hours. It’s optimized for Mac users and is listed as compatible, running a minimum of macOS 11 or later, iPadOS 14 or later, and iOS 14 or later.
The ergonomic wave design in a compact layout with Mac-specific keys allows for efficient and comfortable typing, and the integrated cushioned palm rest provides all-day comfort. The unique shape creates a compact wave design that positions your hands, wrists and forearms in a natural typing position. The palm rest is made with layers of memory foam, high-density foam and knit fabric for added comfort.
The Wave Keys Keyboard ($59.99) fits on most desks and puts your shoulders in a more natural position when using a mouse. It comes with three AAA batteries to power the keyboard for up to three years, according to Logitech’s testing. Bluetooth and low energy technology allow it to pair instantly with Mac computers, iPhones, and iPads.

Use the Logi Options+ app to customize specific tasks, create workflows and time-saving shortcuts. With 4-degree tilt legs, you can instantly adjust the angle. The Wave Keys keyboard lets you instantly switch between devices and can pair up to three Apple devices. Once paired, switching between your computer, iPad, and iPhone is just a tap of a button away.
Logitech suggests pairing the keyboard with the Logitech Lift for Mac Mouse ($59.99) is the perfect combination. The Lift for Mac Vertical Ergonomic Mouse is comfortable and smooth, with six buttons: left/right click, back/forward, middle button, and scroll wheel with middle click. It runs for up to two years on a single AA battery and can be customized for specific tasks.
With each new generation of products, Logitech aims to design a smaller carbon footprint than the previous generation, and the design of Wave Keys for Mac contains 48% recycled post-consumer plastics.

Another new keyboard from Logitech is the MX Keys S For Mac. It’s designed for fast, fluid and accurate typing and has a low-profile design.
The keyboard is available in two colors, space gray and pale gray, and features a Mac-specific layout with smart illumination. It is known for its comfortable, fast, fluid and accurate typing that can be used all day. In addition, the Logi Options+ app allows you to create specific actions and shortcuts to customize your workflow. This allows you to execute multiple key combinations with a single keystroke, automating multiple tasks for speed, efficiency and precision.
I’m a fan of backlit keys, and the MX Keys S for Mac keyboard has the ability to light up the keys as your fingers or hands approach them, automatically adjust to your environment, and let you customize the brightness and duration.
The built-in rechargeable battery provides power for up to 10 days on a full charge with backlit keys, or up to 5 months with the backlighting turned off. The exact number of days before you need to charge or replace the battery will depend on usage during that period. A USB-C charging cable is included.
MX Keys S For Mac also has instant switching between your Apple devices built in. If you’re a Mac user and haven’t tried it yet, give it a try – you’ll be hooked when you experience how quickly you can switch between devices with the tap of a button.
