The second day of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 ended with several innovative and ground-breaking announcements. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is increasingly used with each new product launch. These companies seem to believe that if they don’t incorporate an AI perspective into their products, they will quickly be consigned to the dustbin of history. Here are the top five gadgets that made headlines at MWC 2024.

- Humane AI pin: AI startup Humane demonstrated the AI pin, a wearable device with multiple sensors and generative AI. It also has smart assist features and a small camera that interprets visual information. The AI pin costs $699. Of note is that it will not have its own booth, but instead will have two representatives from companies related to the product offering demonstrations.
- Nothing Phone 2a: There’s nothing teasing the design of the upcoming Phone 2a, which will be released on March 5, 2024. This smartphone is expected to be an affordable offering from the brand. This design features dual rear camera units housed below a pill-shaped camera module. It is equipped with an LED module known for Nothing’s unique product called Glyph Interface.
- TCL phone: At the event, TCL announced five affordable phones under the 50 series. His two models, TCL 50 XL 5G and TCL 50 XL NXTPAPER 5G, are expected to be released during the second quarter. His other three models are expected to be released later this year. All smartphones will be available in the US for under $250.
- Technodynamic 1: Techno has announced its first robot dog, Dynamic1, which is modeled after a German shepherd. This dog can be used for smart home entertainment, training, and education. Powered by AI HyperSense Fusion System and Intel RealSense D430 Depth Camera. Equipped with a 15000mAh battery, it can run for up to 90 minutes.
- Techno Pocket Go: This is an AR game set made by Tecno that includes AR glasses and a controller. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor and offers 16 GB of his LPDDR5 RAM and 1 TB of storage. It also has a 6-axis gyroscope equipped with an AI algorithm that adapts to the user’s movements.
