
Four Argentina players have been absent from the squad for the March matches due to fitness issues.
Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni has announced the list of players for the games against El Salvador and Costa Rica in March. Four players were not included in that list of names.
Gonzalo Montiel, who scored the penalty kick that helped Argentina win the World Cup, is not included. Lisandro Martinez is also absent from the squad due to a knee injury.
Marcos Acuña is also absent due to a hip injury. Guido Rodriguez has been out since December with an ankle injury and is not part of the team.
