A fitness influencer couple has been accused of stocking up on steroids and party drugs in their home.
Police are said to have discovered nearly 20 different drugs at the home of Hattie Boydle, 35, and Coben George Moore, 27, on the Gold Coast on December 22, 2023.
The alleged discoveries include cocaine and MDMA, as well as several steroids, including oxandrolone, trenbolone, testosterone, nandrolone, stanozolol, and growth hormone.
The couple are charged with 13 counts of possession of dangerous drugs, one count each of supplying dangerous drugs, fraudulent possession of medicines and failing to dispose of needles and syringes.
Their cases were heard at Southport Magistrates’ Court on Monday and both were released on bail, but it is yet to be confirmed whether they will take plea deals.
Mr. Boydle and Mr. Moore also face additional charges. As reported by the Gold Coast Bulletin, he was charged with possessing cocaine at Mermaid Beach in March 2022.
Mr Boydle is alleged to have supplied cocaine to his partner in May 2022, and he is also charged with supplying cocaine. A few days later, the testosterone was given to another man.
Mr. Moore was charged with the following additional charges: Possession of something used in a crime.
Defense solicitor Nicholas Andrews asked the court: The meeting will be adjourned until February 22 to discuss this matter with clients.
Boydle and Moore, who have 585,000 and 49,400 followers on Instagram respectively, pride themselves on their “holistic” approach to fitness.
In 2023, the couple launched The Flex Method, a coaching app focused on education-focused learning and sustainable results.
