Valentine’s Day is a national day of love. What better way to celebrate love than with some fun in the bedroom?
Sex is known as a top stress reliever, but it’s also a great way to lose excess weight.

A recent survey found that 41% of people think sex is a good workout, and Joe insists that’s not wrong.
He said: “People are very right to believe that sex is a good workout. It gets the adrenaline pumping, the heart rate increases, and people engage in sexual intercourse for long periods of time, usually longer than spinning at the gym. I can.
“The actual amount of calories burned depends on how long you have sex and how hard you work, but it can reach up to 500kcal per session.
“Anything that requires your body to work more will burn calories at a higher rate, especially when it comes to standing or positions that require a lot of effort to maintain.”
Many standing or squatting positions are considered best for burning calories, such as reverse cowgirl and doggy style.
Silver bullets and standing wheelbarrows are also emerging as a great alternative way to train without going to the gym.
Plus, as Joe says, you don’t have to have sex all night to see results. It is said that you can burn enough calories within an hour.
She says, “Typically, during moderate-intensity sex, people burn an average of 3 to 4 calories per minute.
Therefore, 30 minutes of moderate to high intensity sex requires between 90 and 150 calories. The more adventurous the position, the more calories you burn. For example, missionary burns fewer calories than standing, which requires more strength and stability. ”
Joe also suggests that while any sex position can help you lose weight, there are a few things you can do to ensure a truly effective workout.
“The quadriceps and glutes are often used during sex, regardless of position. If you pick up or hold your partner down, you can start using your upper body muscles more.”
