The partnership between Xiaomi and Leica is now in its third year. The all-new Xiaomi 14 is only the second phone to be launched under this partnership in India after the Xiaomi 13 Pro. For those who don’t know, this partnership began in 2022 when they co-developed and launched the Xiaomi 12S Ultra for the premium smartphone segment as the first product of the long-term partnership. However, it did not reach India. The 13 Pro was Xiaomi’s first product in India and it ticked all the boxes of a great premium camera phone. But the all-new Xiaomi 14 proves there’s room for even more. As already announced by the company, the Xiaomi 14 will be launched in India on March 7th, but Gadgets 360 has had a taste of the all-new phone for almost a week now, so here are our first impressions. introduce.
Xiaomi 14: New features
If you think the new Xiaomi 14 is similar to Xiaomi 13 Pro, yes and no. It is possible for his Xiaomi x Leica adjustment camera on the phone, but it is not possible from a design point of view. The Xiaomi 14 looks like a phone designed from the ground up and has the most practical aesthetics we’ve ever seen on a Xiaomi device in India. What Xiaomi has demonstrated this time is its attention to detail.

The 6.36-inch screen fits neatly between compact phones with 6.1-inch screens and phones with 6.7-inch displays. At 193 grams, the Xiaomi 14 is one of the perfect one-handed phones with excellent weight distribution, especially when compared to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, which weighed 229 grams. At 8.2mm thick, it is thinner than the iPhone 15 Pro and, of course, the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The design aspect is on point and you will definitely like the flat edges of the Xiaomi 14. You can choose from three colors: white, jade green, and black (purchased for this review).
In our time with the Xiaomi 14 and speaking with both the Xiaomi and Leica teams, that commitment is clear.
