First impressions of LG QNED 83 series TV: Improve your life

These days, brands of LED TVs sell for as little as 10 cents, and you can get a 55-inch TV for less than $100. 40,000. But if you pay more for a famous brand, you get a better product. So is the new LG QNED 83 series TV. Yes, it costs more than 100,000, but once you turn it on, you will forget about money. I’ve been using the 55-inch version of the new LG QNED 83 TV for a few days now. Here are my first impressions:

LG is a well-known name in the television industry as they manufacture some of the best televisions. I would love to own or try out an LG Signature Rollable TV someday. This is great technology.

LG QNED 83 Series TV: New features

In terms of design, the LG QNED TV looks like most 55-inch TVs, featuring a slim design and non-existent bezels. The power cable has an angled connector for easy connection when wall-mounting the TV. The ports on the back are easily accessible and offer plenty of options. The TV looks and feels good and has a good weight. The LG branding is minimal and unobtrusive. All you can see is a 55-inch panel.

Now, you may be wondering what is QNED? LG claims this is the “next generation of LED TV.” This is a marketing term used by LG, but there are also advances in technology behind it. QNED TV is equipped with a mini LED backlight and uses quantum dot and nanocell technology to provide brighter images compared to standard LED TVs. This is immediately apparent when you watch content on your LG QNED 83 TV. LG TVs deliver more vibrant colors, brighter details, and deeper blacks than regular LED panels. In the little time I spent watching a few episodes on TV and YouTube videos, I was very impressed.

The panel has a 120Hz refresh rate, which is a boon for gamers like me. I haven’t had a chance to play the game on the LG QNED TV yet, but I think it would be fun if I did. The TV also comes with a wealth of picture settings, including Game Mode and AI Mode, which are expected to improve the viewing experience when gaming.

LG’s QNED 83 series TVs also offer support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. In our initial tests, we found the TV’s audio to be loud and clear. There was some distortion at high levels, but for the most part the sound was great. LG has brought great AI features to its TVs, and now they sound even better. Apart from the panel, one of the main features to look out for in a TV is the software and brain behind it all. Although the LG QNED 83 TV does not come with Google’s Android OS, there are few features you will miss if your main purpose of using the TV is streaming and gaming. This TV’s webOS user interface has been significantly improved and we found it to be very smooth and responsive. Get access to all your favorite streaming apps and browsers, plus an App Store to download even more apps and games. AirPlay is also supported.

LG QNED 83 Series TV is powered by LG’s A7 Gen6 AI processor, which makes everything run smoothly. I didn’t experience any stuttering or lag while using it. The TV also stored apps in memory, so I could continue watching videos as soon as I opened the app. I would also like to talk about the included remote control. This remote has a scrollable wheel in the center that makes navigating the UI easier. You can also use the remote control as a mouse by pointing it at the TV, which makes the operation faster.

LG QNED 83 series TV first impressions

LG has done a great job with the QNED 83 series of TVs. It’s refreshing among LED TVs, and the 120Hz refresh rate will satisfy gamers. The software and UI are smooth, and there are plenty of apps. The sound is also quite good. The LG QNED TV is a great choice for anyone who owns a console or wants a premium smart LED TV with an OLED-like experience.
