A man has been found stabbed to death in a west London park as police launch a murder investigation.
The body of Tyler Donnelly, 19, was discovered by joggers in Hanworth Park, Feltham, at around 7.40am this morning.
Chief Inspector Brian Howie is leading the investigation. metHomicide Command has appealed to the public to come forward if they have any information.
“Tyler left his home around 9:10 Wednesday night and rode his bike along Elmwood Avenue and at some point entered a park. He never returned to the home,” he said. Told.
“If you were at the park and witnessed something, regardless of why you were there, please contact us. Our focus is on what happened to Tyler and who was responsible. ”
The detective continued: “Similarly, if you were driving down Elmwood Street, going home, or going for a walk, did you notice anything? Maybe you were wearing black clothes and a gray bicycle. Did you see Tyler in the car or did you see him with anyone?”
“The H25 bus route passes through Elmwood Avenue. Did you pass through this area Wednesday or early Thursday morning? Did you see Tyler or anyone matching his description?”
Detective Inspector Howie said Mr Donnelly's family and friends were “inconsolable after receiving the worst possible news”.
“Our thoughts are with them and they are supported by specialist officers.”
No arrests have been made, and a crime scene has been set up in the park, which is expected to remain in place for several days.
Police announced that an autopsy will be conducted in the future.
