A man from Queens, New York has set a new world record at the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest on Independence Day by downing a gallon of lemonade in an incredibly short amount of time.
Eric “Badlands” Booker downed an entire jug of sour citrus juice in just 21 seconds, winning the contest with ease.
This year they won the tournament for the fourth consecutive year.
After his win, he celebrated loudly into the microphone.
Booker, 55, is best known for his online presence on YouTube channel “BadlandsChugs,” which features videos of him guzzling soda.

He won the inaugural Lemonade Chugging Challenge in 2021 and has defended his title every year since.
In 2023, Booker set a new world record by downing a gallon of lemonade in just 23.08 seconds.
His win this year came just minutes before Patrick Bertoletti won the hot dog chugging contest, eating 58 hot dogs in just 10 minutes.
Another contestant, Jeffrey Epster, came in second with 53, and Bertoletti’s rival, James Webb, won 52.
This was Bertoletti’s ninth appearance.
That total pales in comparison to the record-breaking 76 hot dogs and buns Chestnut ate in 2021.
In the women’s division, defending champion Miki Sudo ate 51 hot dogs and buns, breaking the tournament record. Mayoi Ebihara came in second with 37.
