At Snap Fitness Spring, fitness knows no boundaries. From beginners to regular gym goers, all members can create positive lifestyle habits in a supportive environment and celebrate their progress every step of the way.
Local owner and franchisee Darin Hamblin said fitness is more than just a gym, it’s about taking care of your body and mind.
“My mother passed away on February 1, 2013. I became clean and sober that day,” Hamblin said. “One year ago today, I opened my first Snap Fitness. I spent the first few years helping people with drug and alcohol issues, mental illness issues, trauma and PTSD. Then I thought, “I want to be in the best shape of my life, and I want to help others do the same.”
The locally owned and operated gym is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and Hamblin said Snap Fitness’ mission is simple.
“Our mission is to provide our community with a great environment to stay active, stay healthy and enjoy their fitness journey,” Hamblin said.
What sets Snap Fitness apart is our philosophy that people matter. A gym is a place that builds a stable, close-knit community, not a revolving door.
“We’re all about people, their fitness journeys and having a good time,” Hamblin said. “I think the key to my success is taking care of people.”
Snap Fitness members receive all the benefits of a national conglomerate, plus the benefits of a small business. Snap Fitness Springs is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment called Technogym, the same brand that also supplies the Olympics.
This business also offers other services and features included in a Snap Fitness membership.
- infrared sauna
- free weights
- interactive machine
- Personal training evaluation
- group fitness classes
- virtual class
- heart monitoring system
- technogym app
- snap fitness app
Through the Snap Fitness app, members can track their fitness progress, access on-demand workouts, receive personalized meal plans, participate in mental health programs, and more. This unique product allows personal trainers to design personalized workouts that clients can follow by scanning a code on the machine.
Without the crowds and chaos of larger gyms, members can focus on developing healthy habits and moving forward.
“We’re not a $9.95 a month gym, because that creates a crowd,” Hamblin said. “We’re looking for serious people. We’re a fitness family, so we call ourselves Fitfam.”
Snap Fitness Spring is located at 6905 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, and membership is available to individuals 14 years of age and older. Those aged 14-16 must be accompanied by an adult, and members aged 17 and older are considered adults.
This gym does not use contracts and requires monthly payments of $99 to start, $25 for an access card to sign up, and $55 to terminate with 30 days’ written notice. This gives members 24/7 access to the gym and all other Snap Fitness facilities.
For a limited time only, Snap Fitness Spring is running a special promotion. There is no registration fee, and monthly payments are $45 for the first year.
“What you get is a place that is less crowded, has clean, state-of-the-art facilities, and the convenience of 24/7 access,” Hamblin said. “We’re not your typical gym experience.”
