Hair wash gentle milky hair cleanser
The problem with most shampoos is that they dry curly hair too much. However, this is one of the gentlest and most deliciously scented cleansers I have ever used. It’s my favorite wash for dry, thick curls because it removes dirt, sweat, and debris from the hair without giving it a straw-like feel. It also smells like Froot Loops, which makes me feel very nostalgic. This was actually my first product from this brand and I still love it and use it as my weekly face wash.

This deep conditioner pairs beautifully with milky hair washes.I would love to see it added So It provides plenty of moisture to your hair without weighing it down or making it feel sticky. If you have super dry curls, trust me, you won’t want to sleep on this. Silicones (like dimethicone) can be damaging to some curl types, and honestly, they’re in so many formulas, even those meant for curly hair. I can’t say enough good things about this conditioner, but I’ll end by confidently saying this is my all-time favorite deep conditioner.

Hair Gel: Longwear Curl Capture Gloss
Gels are difficult for me. On the other hand, while I love how it smooths out frizz and flyaways, it often leaves my hair feeling greasy and dry, even after rinsing it. This gel is one of the best I’ve tried, providing plenty of hold, nourishing the curls, and locking in moisture. The snow mushrooms and red algae in the formula help form a protective layer on top of the hair shaft without being too clogging, making your hair too crispy or so-called “shiny.”

Hair Oil Everyday Gloss
Hair oil is also a difficult product to use if you have thick curls. If you apply too little, it won’t have much effect on your hair, but if you apply too much, it may leave your hair greasy. Like the brand’s Gentle Milky Hair cleanser, this oil has a wonderful scent and is packed with moisturizing and nourishing ingredients that are perfect for dry hair. A little goes a long way here, and I definitely used too much the first few times I tried it. However, a light dab here and there can really help lock in moisture after deep conditioning. Or, I like to use it over this brand’s leave-in conditioning cream. It contains a blend of the brand’s star ingredients like Kakadu plum oil and safflower oil to give your hair fatty acids, shine, and next-level moisture. I love that it’s designed with thick and curly hair types in mind, which is why it’s one of my favorite hair oils on the market.

Clear Wash: Detox Clarifying Shampoo
I was really excited to try this brand new shampoo. I love my Milky Hair Cleanser, but some weeks I need a really deep cleanse, and in the past I’ve struggled to find a purifying shampoo that detoxifies my scalp without drying it out. This is perfect for that! I love that it removes silicone buildup and excess oil without stripping my hair. As mentioned above, using silicone in hair can be problematic for some people, and a mild sulfate-free shampoo alone won’t remove it. If you don’t remove them too, they can build up in your hair over time, making your hair even drier. I recently realized this is a problem for me. That’s why I’m so excited that Bread offers a purifier that can truly remove all of this. I love this option and now use it once a week or every other week to get rid of any buildup.

Baby Soft: Ceramide Hair Conditioner
I could wax poetic about Bread’s deep conditioner for days, so I knew it would be hard to top this formula. But I’m happy to report that this conditioner is just as good. It strengthens the curls, adds slip to the hair, and makes it super soft and moisturized. It contains ingredients like Australian plum, glycerin, and ceramide complex to enhance your curls’ natural pattern. It’s especially great for curly hair, but it’s also designed to work well with most other hair types. I’m not sure which one to use on wash days, but I think I’ll use this as a regular conditioner and use the deep conditioner as a hair mask once or twice a week. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with either formula.

Elastic Bounce Leave-in Conditioning Styler Hair Cream
I stopped flat ironing my curls over a year ago to get my natural curl pattern back. Since then, finding the right products to support the curl healing process has not been easy. One of the products I struggled with the most was the leave-in conditioner. Some of the ones I tried didn’t give me enough hydration or definition, and some left weird coatings on my hair that were difficult to wash out. I know I’ve said it many times in this review about all of Bread’s products, but this is definitely one of his best styling creams/leaves for curls. I was very impressed with how much definition it added to my curls without using much product. It contains a myriad of moisturizing and protective ingredients such as mango butter, quinoa protein, and caprylic triglyceride to reduce dryness and soften hair. My super dry curls love this formula and it’s definitely a new staple in my routine now.

Mud Mask: A pre-wash clay treatment that detoxifies your hair and scalp.
I’ve tried a few pre-cleansing treatments in the past and wasn’t very impressed with any of them. To be honest, my hair is so thick that I usually skip using one to wash everything out before shampooing as it’s even more of a hassle. This is definitely perfect for days when your scalp and hair need an extra detox as it’s loaded with clay and quartz. Considering my aversion to prewashing, I was really surprised at how much I liked this treatment. I thought it would be too drying because it contains clay, but it detoxifies the scalp without drying it out. You can feel the difference in your curls after using it.

I haven’t gotten this product yet, but I would like to write about it in my review. I love leave-ins and gels, so I’m sure I’ll probably like this too. Contains amino acids from wheat, soy and yeast to repair damage and strengthen curls.
