Dreame Technology may not be a household name, but the Xiaomi-backed Chinese vacuum cleaner specialist has launched some interesting products that take on more established brands. The latest product in the company’s portfolio is the H12 Core Handheld Wet/Dry Vacuum Cleaner, a product designed to help you complete the everyday task of cleaning hard floors in minutes.

Design-wise, the H12 Core doesn’t stray too far from the standard upright Dyson-esque design, with a single roller brush on the front to stir up dirt before vacuuming it up, and two 900ml and 500ml brushes. Equipped with two water tanks. For purified or used water under the handle. Although it may look large, it is lightweight at 4.65 kg and can stand upright without support.
The H12 Core, coupled with a large rear wheel and roller brush that harnesses the power of the motor to create forward traction, makes it very easy to handle when moving from room to room. Because of its self-propelled ability, even preteens at home can confidently take on the task of vacuuming on a busy day.
The H12 is easy to get started with a large LED display on the top showing the wash mode, battery level, emptying the used water tank (pausing the wash), and automatic wash while charging on the included base. You will receive an alert to start. Especially self-cleaning is very convenient. The roller brush is rinsed, rotated, scrubbed dry, and ready for your next cleaning session without the hassle of cleaning your device.
Voice prompts appear in most cases when user action is required, such as a clogged roller brush, clogged tube, or low butter content, so you don’t have to stare at the display trying to figure out the problem. When you start this machine with a perfectly clean tank and a room that has not been swept or mopped, this machine will very easily deal with dirt and stains from spilled liquids, and the built-in dirt sensor will automatically adjust the suction power and water flow. Adjusted to deal with more stubborn stains. It is only for hard floors, so marble, tile, vinyl, and wood floors are fine, but carpet is strictly prohibited.

The only problem I foresee is that running the 200W brushless motor at full tilt will drain the battery in less than 30 minutes. This may be a factor to consider in larger homes with sufficient floor space. Then it will take 5 hours. Wait until the machine is charged and ready for use.
