
This spring, the West End comes alive with the return of Divas London, an all-singing, all-dancing festival featuring some of the biggest diva powerhouses. Featuring the West End’s top cast and dazzling dancers, the show celebrates songs by Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Cher, Celine Dion and Madonna, as well as featuring London musical talent Amy Herwine. A tribute to the house will also be performed. Pretty Almeida: Best known from Britain’s Got Talent, Pretty Almeida (aka Big Mama Funk) has been leading various high-end function bands with her unmistakable DIVA voice for 20 years. He brings extensive performance experience to the show.
Simon Gross (Producer): Simon Gross trained at Guildford School of Acting and has 30 years’ experience in pantomime and live entertainment. His notable ventures include producing ‘Drug Divas’ at the Arts Theater and the iconic adult pantomime ‘Snow White and the Seven Merry Men’ at his theater in Leicester Square. His acting roles include Edna in “Hairspray,” host in “Cabaret,” Benny in “Singalong Abba” at the Whitehall Theatre, and host in the “Best of Broadway” European tour. Simon’s television appearances include the BBC’s ‘On the Road with Maureen Rees’, ITV’s ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ and his memorable appearance on ‘Big Brother’ in 2015 , where he became known for his catchphrase “SHOWBIZ”. Simon is a regular columnist for OK! He can be seen hosting celebrity events in magazines and on the red carpet.
