A beauty salon in Apsley is left reeling after an unprovoked attack last night (Tuesday, January 23).
Charlie, the owner of Rosa Aesthetics, wakes up to receive a message from the police informing her that her salon has been destroyed.
After a large brick was thrown, the front window was broken and the floor was covered with a glass carpet.
Charlie, who has been running the salon since July last year, is shocked and confused by the attack.
she said Kings News: “Nothing like this has ever happened before! We don't know who did it or why. We are looking at CCTV footage and have footage from the pharmacy across the street.
“We believe someone must have fired the door from a car because no one seems to have approached the door. The bricks are very heavy, so we think it was probably a man.”
“We're looking for information. If you have more information, please contact us and we'll give you a reward.”
To contact Rosa Aesthetics please call 07739 025876.
A Herts Police spokesperson said: “Between 7pm and 1.20am there were reports of bricks being thrown at the windows of Rose Aesthetics on London Street, causing damage. No one was allowed inside.
“Investigations are continuing and anyone with information is asked to call 101 or report online quoting ISR crime reference number 41/6385/24.”
