Coty Group continues to strengthen its portfolio of luxury brands. The company has signed a licensing agreement with Italian luxury fashion brand Marni. Under the terms of the agreement, details of which were not disclosed, Coty will develop, produce and sell fragrances and beauty products under the Marni brand starting in 2040.
The first products under this license agreement are expected to be released in 2026. Coty said the focus will be on translating Marni’s creative, fashion-forward identity into the realm of beauty.
“Marni is highly regarded in the fashion industry, especially in Asia and Europe. This licensing agreement is consistent with Coty’s highly successful strategic direction to focus on fashion-driven licenses with multi-category potential that resonate across key markets. We are excited to begin working with Marni to develop premium beauty products that bring to life the fashion house’s visual style and beauty values.” Said Coty CEO Sue Nabi.
Following the recent renewal of its license agreement with Jil Sander, Coty strengthens its partnership with OTB Group through its agreement with Marni.
Founded in 1994, Marni is known for its disruptive, colorful collections that challenge traditional fashion norms and the seriousness of dressing up. The brand celebrates individuality through its unique approach to materials and color.
