
Cheshire East will be offering grants to local organizations that can provide cultural activities.
Funding will come from the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund.
Cultural activities are defined as arts, heritage, museums, festivals and events, new media, creative and digital industries.
Organizations can claim 80% of the project cost up to a maximum of £10,000.
Although this grant application is expected to attract a large number of applicants, applicants must represent one of the following:
● Volunteer or community organization
● Town or parish council.
● Registered charity or non-profit organization
Grants may also support the sustainability of local cultural organizations. However, this is provided that the content provided by the organization takes place within the borough and is of benefit to Cheshire East residents.

The scheme is currently recruiting and the deadline for submitting applications is midday on Sunday 24th March.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their grant application on Tuesday, March 26th.
