Charlotte Tilbury Beauty has denied terminating her contract with model Bella Hadid, citing “personal views”.
This follows media speculation that the brand’s professional relationship with Hadid, an American supermodel of Dutch and Palestinian descent, may have ended due to her political beliefs regarding the Gaza conflict. That’s what it meant.
The 27-year-old former Victoria’s Secret Angel model began working with Charlotte Tilbury Beauty in March 2023.
The beauty brand announced that it has ended its contract with Hadid as she launches her own line of beauty products.
“The professional relationship between Bella Hadid and Charlotte Tilbury Beauty has come to an end as Bella prepares to launch her own beauty brand,” a statement from the company obtained by Penn State News Agency read. I welcomed you.
“In no way did Bella’s personal views influence our contract or our relationship with her.
“As a female-led company, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty continues to support Bella and looks forward to the exciting launch of Orebella later this year.”
The brand also said the model “remains a close friend of Charlotte Tilbury Beauty.”

Hadid modeled for the Airbrush Flawless Lip Blur campaign in June 2023, channeling 90s supermodel glamor in a latex catsuit.
Models Kate Moss and Jourdan Dunn, and actress Lily James are other celebrities who are the face of the brand.
Hadid, the daughter of Palestinian real estate tycoon Mohamed Anwar Hadid, has been a vocal advocate of support for Palestinians amid the Gaza conflict.
In May 2021, she participated in the Free Palestine March in New York City, and later that year, in a social media post, she wrote, “To speak out about the systematic oppression, pain, and humiliation that Palestinians face on a regular basis. I have no intention of stopping.”
On October 26, 2023, after Hamas’ attack on Israel earlier that month, she said, “I have been sent hundreds of death threats,” adding, “I stand with humanity.”
A representative for Hadid has been contacted for comment.
