B&M has slashed the prices of gadgets shoppers think are ‘perfect for the garden’.
The popular discount store is currently selling the Goodmans ‘Mini Projector’ for just £20 instead of the usual retail price of £69.
Bargain hunters recently discovered the deal and took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share the news.
They wrote: “Scanned at checkout and app for £20!!”
The post caused a huge stir among other savvy shoppers who were excited about the potential deal.
One person simply wrote, “I want it,” and also tagged some friends.
Another user, who also tagged a friend, said: “Perfect for the garden.”
Meanwhile, a third added: “This is what I’ve always wanted.”
The fourth post said, “Great deal.”
Of course, keep in mind that you’re at the back of the line and each branch is clearing out inventory, so you may have this much less product.
Elsewhere, other bargain-hunting shoppers are racing to their nearest Dunelm to pick up scans of household essentials at reduced prices at the till.
The bargain retailer is selling the Elements 30 liter slim bin for just £12.50.
Meanwhile, shoppers are rushing to fill their baskets with home decor items that have been slashed from £185 to just £17.

B&M’s current bargains
B&M’s garden centers are currently offering a huge selection of bargains.
For example, Tropical Receding Curve Plants are reduced from £20 to £6, and B&M Decorative Plant Feeders are £1 less.
Shoppers have been able to save hundreds of pounds a year by using B&M’s scanner app.
Scanners allow you to see if a product’s price is lower than the price shown on the store label.
The items that are discounted are usually seasonal items or older stock that B&M is looking to shift.
One former B&M manager says you might also want to visit your local branch on Wednesdays at 10am.
The Chillmax Go Fan sells for over £18 at most other retailers, but B&M stocks it for £5 instead of £20.
The discount retailer originally sold Surf Limited Edition Winter Indulgence Vanilla & Oud Liquid Detergent for £2.99, but has now reduced the price by a whopping 96%.
You can find your nearest B&M branch using the store locator tool on the retailer’s website.
Meanwhile, Aldi shoppers can prepare for warmer weather thanks to the return of the discount supermarket’s Garden Get Together range, which will be on sale from May 16.
Shoppers can pick up all the essentials to host a garden party, including barbecues, cocktail shakers, folding recliners, and solar lights to decorate your outdoor space for summer hosting.
Aldi says prices start from just £2.99 and they will be in stores from next week.
How to compare prices and get the best deal
Just because something is on offer or part of a sale doesn’t always mean it’s a good deal.
There are many comparison websites that will check prices for you so you don’t have to pay more than you have to.
Most of them work by comparing prices from hundreds of retailers.
Below are some recommendations.
- Google Shopping is a tool that allows users to search for products and compare prices on the web. Simply enter a keyword or product number to see search results.
- Price Spy records the price history of products from over 3,000 different retailers including Argos, Amazon, eBay and supermarkets. Select individual products and instantly compare which stores have them in stock at the lowest prices.
- Idealo is another website where you can compare prices between retailers. Shoppers simply search for the product they want, and the website ranks it from cheapest to most expensive.
- CamelCamelCamel only works for products sold on Amazon. To use it, enter the URL of the product you want to check the price of.
