Considering buying a fitness watch? What would the average person do? And how much should you spend?
On today’s episode of The Big Tech Show, Adrian Wekler takes a closer look at fitness wearables, watches, rings, and trackers to find out what the best options are on the market.
On this week’s show, Adrian speaks with Matt Evans, TechRadar’s fitness and wearables editor.
Adrian started by asking Matt how the Apple Watch compares to products like Garmin as fitness devices. Evans says the watch is very good compared to pure fitness brands, acting as a kind of “all-purpose watch” that holds a boarding pass and has many fitness features.
Fitness and wearables editors named Coros and Polar as watches in the mid-to-high price range. He also pointed out that Luxe and Fitbit are budget options in the fitness tracker space and are usually very affordable at less than 100 euros.
Aura is the big name in the fitness ring space, but Samsung claims it will launch the Samsung Galaxy Ring in the second half of 2024.
