BBC Wales News has appointed a new culture correspondent who will cover all forms of arts, entertainment and culture across TV, radio and online. Former Abergele member Rhona Pritchard has been appointed to the new role and started her new role this week.
Lorna started her journalism career with the Cynon Valley Leader and then worked in broadcast journalism with BBC Cymru Wales. She then moved to her ITV Wales news desk and began a freelance career in 2018 to balance journalism with her other passion, stand-up and her comedy. . Since 2019 she has produced and presented programs on BBC Radio Wales and since 2020 she has produced and presented the Welsh language podcast ‘Cipolwg’ for the Welsh National Opera.
